Hometown Plumber Builds Client Loyalty with Education

Kirk Stinson Shares Expertise, Trains Apprentice

Saugus , CA – August 30, 2004 – Kirk Stinson wants to improve the quality of plumbing services in Santa Clarita
Valley, one plumber at a time. As the founder and president of Plumbing By Kirk, a Saugus-based company built
on providing high-quality, personalized plumbing services to area residents, Stinson places a premium on establishing long-term client loyalty.

“To have customers who trust us and value our services is worth its weight in gold,” said Stinson, 38, who lives in the community with his wife and 4-year-old son. “I'm the hometown plumber and believe in supporting the community in every way I can, professionally and personally.”

Hanging out his shingle just more than a year ago, Stinson has grown his staff and client base through word-of-mouth advertising and personal referrals. He focuses his efforts on developing customer loyalty, lasting relationships and ultimately clients for life. Quality workmanship, fair pricing, outstanding service and round-the-clock help are the hallmarks upon which he established Plumbing By Kirk in 2003. These very principals are what keep his phone ringing and work schedule full.

In addition to hiring and training additional plumbers, Stinson has made it a priority to bring on an apprentice. Teaching others what he knows best is how Stinson plans to make a lasting improvement on his trade. As an industry-certified plumber, he guides, tests and eventually requires his apprentice to become licensed.

He also seeks to educate clients. An interactive “Ask the Plumber” service is provided free-of-charge to visitors at his website, www.plumbingbykirk.com . Stinson personally responds to all inquiries with advice and solutions to individual plumbing challenges. Inquiries come from the local area and throughout the country.

Stinson is a member of the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce and Jaycees, and participates in as many events as possible to support the business community. He will soon be joining the Valley Industrial Association, VIA, where he plans to be actively involved.

“I want to help others start careers in this business. Through my apprentice program I can share my expertise,” said Stinson who spent more than a dozen years working for another company before branching out on his own. “My son even wants to become a plumber.”
